Common Problems (and Solutions) For Men With Facial Hair.

Problem:

It is common for men who regularly wear facial hair to experience chronic Atopic Dermatitis or at the very least, experience at some point when having facial hair.

The most common symptoms of dermatitis are itchy, flaky skin; more acute cases could present with red, raised, scaly patches of skin.

This usually happens overtime because the skin underneath the beard is not being cleansed and exfoliated thoroughly, let alone consistently. Furthermore, the skin is not receiving enough hydration via moisturizer or oil.

Solution:

A flat, silicone brush must be used in order to achieve full access to the skin below the beard. This brush should be used during cleansing and application of hydration. The silicone brush has the ability to penetrate the beard and sit flush onto the skin. Therefore, having the ability to properly and evenly distribute product. The given friction of the brush also assists in exfoliation.

Generous product application must ensue, as the facial hair absorbs a great deal of the product. Additionally, ‘beard oil’ is a must rather than a gimmick or trend. Furthermore, facial oil constitutes a beard oil.
